I’ve only just discovered Tracy thanks to Leah’s Blog. I laughed wryly at Tracy’’s comment about singing at 60, “Who cares?” I am who I am. There’s nothing I can do about it, and as long as I’m interested in what I have to say, maybe someone else will be, too.” It is a moment of incredible liberation when who one is and who they are seen to be become one. Life isn’t a box of Chocolates it’s more like the life cycle of the Acacia Nut (Acacia erioloba) which has to go through an elephant’s digestive tract to have the hard protective shell removed so that it can germinate — essentially, we go through a lot of shit before we get to the sunlight and true expression of our selves.

I love tracy & her songs,,thank you for the article. Its wonderful that someone is paying attention to her talents. I’d also like to acknowledge her guitar picking .

Tracy draws for you the most beautiful word pictures you have ever seen. You visualize exactly the scenes she creates. Each word is carefully, perfectly chosen and placed. You relax, your blood pressure lowers, and you start humming and then SINGING along with her…..wow.

Tracy continues to be an inspiration to us all. I have known her since she first started singing at McCabe’s in L.A. and loved her songs then and love them now. She has done more for aspiring performing artists than anyone I know. Her concerts are incredible. I hope she gets a huge hit. No one deserves it more!!!!

I was introduced to Tracey the person and Tracey the songwriter very recently, and am a big fan of both. She’s a terrific ambassador for the songwriter’s craft, especially the fact that it only gets better as the decades add their weight of observation and clarity. Can’t wait to hear what’s coming next!
